New Dance Class for 2016

Have you heard that we'll have a new dance class next year? (What?!) Yes, this is not rumour, it's true. Mr. Kwan, an awesome math and physics teacher and vollyball coach, is going to teach dance as an elective for Gr.10, 11 and 12 students. You can definitely sign up for this course on course selection 2016 Jan/Feb I believe. I know you are really impatient as we speak, so important facts, now!

What kind of dance are we talking about?

K-Pop and other styles.

What do we do in class?

Dance, of cource. (Oh yeah I know you want to be more specific) Working in small groups, and presenting to the class and/or other school events. Mr. Kwan is going to teach you how to choreograph in class.

Do I need to have experience?

If you have, great! But if you are a beginner that's great as well. Mr. Kwan said "You guys can't be worse (is it worse?) than adult beginners". Don't fret!

Who is Mr. Kwan?

He's a great math and physics teacher, all students who have him as a teacher think that he's a pretty cool guy. You might know him as a volleyball coach as well at PW. His room is C111.

Any interesting facts about Mr. Kwan?

Glad you ask cuz I got lots!

He practiced martial arts for 15 years. (15, that's probably how old you are, think aobut it!)

He gave up martial arts to dancing.

His major in university is Chemistry, but he later became a math teacher, and a physics teacher this school year. Every year he tried to teach chem, but, we have Ms. Bleko and Ms. Norman teaching already.

He uses a little bit of math when doing choreography.

He has a twin brother. (repeat: a twin brother) And they are going to perform in the Variety Show for PR.
